I am sitting here on my couch with my laptop on my lap coming up with a post. Last week while going through my social media accounts I was requested to do a post on inexpensive redecorating ideas. I decided to put together ideas that are not only affordable but easy to do and work for a bedroom or living room, so let’s dive right in.
I started my day today feeling strong and just ready to do what I love doing, working on my blog. On most days I usually wake up groggy but a good 9 hours of sleep can take you along way. The bedroom is a place where we spend most of our time lounging under the covers, watching our favorite shows and snuggling with loved ones. Turning your room into a cozy bedroom that is so inviting and you don’t want to leave is what today’s post is all about.
With so many inspiring decor photos and videos on instagram and elsewhere, it’s easy to get carried away and make a lot of decorating mistakes in your home. Today am talking about two common mistakes that I have done in the past (yes I make mistakes too) and their solutions. If it’s your first time decorating your current home, bedroom in your parents house or just moved in to a new rental this post is for you.
With the cost of living increasing more and more people are moving to smaller homes. With that comes the challenge to make a small living room look bigger. For the longest time everyone usually mentions mirrors as a solution but today I wanted to share other ideas that I have found to actually work.
Am so happy it’s Friday and am just looking forward to some family time this weekend. I have actually been able to blog a lot this week and been feeling so inspired.

Interior designer Vs decorator so often are used interchangeably and today I want clear out the confusion for you. So lets start..
I am so excited to finally be back after about a month of being a way. I had some issues with my computer so decided to embrace the time off and take a much needed break. Today am sharing gold decor accents that you can incorporate into your home. This trend is everywhere and it’s a great way to add some glitz and glamour to your room.
I can’t believe it’s Friday again seems like it was just Monday yesterday. For a long time I have wanted to write a post on white Kitchen designs. I personally Love walking into a clean, bright and attractive kitchen usually with crisp white cabinets. Lately I have noticed most homes are having a white on white design, meaning everything is white. Read on and let me know if white is for you.
It’s a new week and I just had a great weekend out of town. My family was out on a road trip and we stopped by this store with great home decor items and I just wanted them all. Check out and Follow Me my new Instagram account @cozyzen for some pics and will be adding more during the week. I have also been working on beautifying our small outdoor area so I can spend more time outdoors. Today’s post is all about patio decor inspiration, hope you find something you like.
